About Us

The Treehouse Therapy team believe that each family is unique and so we tailor therapy around your child’s individual needs. We provide therapy where your child feels most comfortable, whether in your home or educational setting. We are highly experienced and trained in a variety of evidence-based interventions. We believe strongly that you are the expert in your own child, and we will work together with you, providing you with the tools and skills you need to grow your child’s potential.

As a team, we have lots of experience working with children with a range of speech and language needs, including autism spectrum condition, difficulties in understanding and using language and pronunciation difficulties.

We can also provide a service to schools and nurseries.  This service includes assessment of individual children, individual and group therapy and teacher training packages.

In addition we can provide autism diagnostic assessments as part of a highly experienced multi-professional team  More information about autism assessments can be found here:

There are two branches of Treehouse Therapies, one in Nottingham and surrounding regions and one in Berkshire.  We welcome expressions of interest from both these locations.  We are also able to provide online therapy to children throughout the United Kingdom.

Meet the Team

Liz Potter

I have been a qualified Speech and Language Therapist for 13 years and have extensive experience of working with children from 0-18 years. I work with a range of different speech, language and communication needs.  However, I specialise in working with children on the autism spectrum and for the last 8 years I have worked in the Autism Assessment Team in CAMHS, providing diagnostic assessments.  I do this alongside my independent speech and language work.  I am a good listener and particularly enjoy working with children with anxiety who have difficulty regulating their emotions. I am trained in a number of evidence-based interventions e.g. Attention Autism, Makaton, PECS, Hanen More than Words, It Takes Two To Talk.

I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS for 9 years. I have experience working with pre-school and school age children with a range of speech and language difficulties. I specialise in working with children with speech sound difficulties and delayed language development. I enjoy making sessions fun and engaging for the children I work with. I think it is important to work with those closest to the child to help them achieve their goals. I can work in the home or education setting. I am trained in a range of evidence-based interventions including: Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, Makaton, ELKLAN, Attention Autism.
